Are your boots genuine sheepskin boots?
All our boots are genuine Australian sheepskin boots that are made at our manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Australia from premium quality sheepskin.

We are not affiliated in any way with the Deckers Outdoor Corporation and their "Ugg Australia" brand. We do not sell sheepskin boots that are made in China. All sheepskin boots sold at our on-line store are made in Australia from 100% natural sheepskin.

What label do your boots have on the back heel?
Due to the trademark restrictions we have two distinct labels for domestic and export markets.

Our domestic label contains Chic Empire crown logo with the words "Ugg Made in Australia".

Our export label contains Chic Empire crown logo with the words "Chic Empire Australia".

What countries do you ship to?
We ship our Australian boots worldwide (except Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines and Vietnam).

How do I place an order for boots online?
To place an order browse through any of the product categories/collections. When you found an item you like, select your size and click on "Add to Cart" button. Continue shopping until you've added all required items to the Shopping Cart. When you're ready to finalise your sheepskin boots or accessories purchase, go to your Shopping Cart, update the quantities as desired, and click on the "Checkout" button to proceed to the checkout. Enter your delivery information and payment details and press "Confirm Order" button.

You will receive an order confirmation email shortly.

What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa and MasterCard. Our on-line store utilises 128-bit SSL encryption technology similar to the protection offered by many banks.

What currency am I being charged in?
All payments are processed in Australian Dollars and converted to your local currency by your credit card provider. The total amount in foreign currency may vary slightly depending on the fees charged and exchange rate used by the credit provider. The currency conversion facility provided on our site is based on approximate current exchange rates and does not include fees charged by the credit card provider. As a result, the actual amount charged in your currency may vary slightly from the amount shown on our site.

How do I check the status of my order?
You can check your order status any time by clicking "My Orders" link from your account drop-down located in the top-right corner of every page.

How do I care for my sheepskin boots?
Sheepskin boots should never be put in a washing machine or dryer. Hand-wash your boots in a warm water, using an approved wool detergent. You can use a soft brush for scrapping. To dry, place your sheepskin boots in the shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow drying out slowly to retain the soft, supple finish. Sheepskin footwear does shrink slightly after drying out, but will get back to normal after just a few wears. Once the boot is dry, lightly brush the cleaned area with a suede or nubuck brush. Brush in one direction only. If you follow these directions, your boots will look fantastic for years to come.

Are there any additional taxes and/or duties?
All prices displayed on Chic Empire web site are inclusive of 10% goods and services tax (GST). GST only applies to the Australian customers. All international orders will have 10% GST deducted at the checkout time.

Some international orders may be subject to import taxes/duties and customs clearance fees in the country of destination. If unsure whether such charges will be applicable to you, please contact your local postal and customs authorities. Any such fees are solely the responsibility of the parcel recipient and not paid by us.
